First Folk’n Tuesdays returns to the Button Factory Stage in Portsmouth on January 7th. Kicking off the year will be Exeter’s Todd Hearon and Concord’s Walker Smith. Todd Hearon’s deep, baritone voice tells folk tales in the way that only a true Texas-born troubadour can. Walker Smith is the kind of singer-songwriter that always lays it on smooth, with a raspy-silky voice akin to Ray Lamontagne. Both artists contrast nicely as contemporary as well as traditional styles will be on display.
