Last month, folk duo Green Heron announced the release of their second album, New Pair of Shoes. The album was an effort of the RPM Challenge, an annual challenge to songwriters to record and release 10 tracks or 35 minutes of original music within the month of February.
New Pair of Shoes will be released on July 12, 2019 and to celebrate, the band will be performing on July 13 at WSCA Portsmouth’s Button Factory Stage. Jake Davis (of Jake Davis & The Whiskey Stones) and Marjorie Senet (formerly of The Trashpickers) will be opening the show.
